Led by Bob Johnson
In the past often considered as an extension of Berkeley,
Kensington developed in the early twentieth century and was
home to many people associated with UC Berkeley. We will review
a bit of the history (including the home of a very famous former
resident), see some varied architecture, explore public paths and
enjoy occasional views.
This walk includes some up and down but not really long, steep
climbs. Many streets are without sidewalks. 1.6 miles, 300 feet
elevation gain.
