Sunday, March 1, 1 pm: “Latino Visual Arts: Pride, Resilience, and Resistance”

This is the final program in conjunction with the ongoing exhibit, Berkeley’s Latino Community: A Story of Pride & Resilience, 1900-2025.

Join us as we explore how Latino artists have used creativity as an expression of cultural pride, resilience, and resistance.

12:30 – 1 p.m.    Exhibit open for viewing.

1 – 2 p.m.   PowerPoint Presentation on the Legacy of Mexican Art and on the work of Contemporary Artists.

2-3 p.m.   Interact with artists and view screenprint artists demonstrating their work. Art will also be for sale.

3 – 3:30 p.m.   Exhibit open for viewing.
