The Berkeley Historical Society & Museum is completely run by volunteers, and we welcome Berkeley history enthusiasts to get involved, even occasionally. 

At the moment (late April, 2026), we are primarily looking for:
– People available to docent/host on Saturdays from 10 to 1 (at least once a month) so we can extend our hours
– People with any of the following skills and experience: publicity, DonorPerfect, WordPress, Facebook, InDesign, grant writing, or museum planning and design
– People with a particular interest in developing an exhibit about Telegraph Avenue history to open in October 2026
