Like all American museums, the Berkeley Historical Society & Museum depends largely on private donations. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, so your gifts are tax deductible to the extent provided by law. The only financial support we receive from the City of Berkeley is deeply discounted rent.
We have a small but growing endowment fund that will help ensure future financial stability.
