Feb. 11: Black History Pop-Up Exhibit


At the Tarea Hall Pittman South Berkeley Public Library: One-day Pop-Up Exhibit on “African Americans in Berkeley 1940-2010.” Dr. Stephanie Johnson curator and Harvey Smith co-curator will give an Introductory talk at 1pm. The public will be able come by and view the panels until 6 pm. They feature more than 20 notable Black Berkeley residents, highlighted for Black History Month.

The library is at 1901 Russell Street (corner of Martin Luther King, Jr. Way).

Note: These exhibit panels are now on display in the Veterans Memorial Building lobby through February.
